PickTheBook is built on one idea: let the math make the call. Every pick you see here comes from a quantitative model — not a gut feeling, not a favorite team, not a hot streak someone's chasing.
The machine doesn't care who's playing. It runs the numbers and tells you what it sees.
The model digests historical data and current market signals, generates its picks automatically, and posts them the moment they're live. There's no human second-guessing in the loop. Take the picks, play them consistently, and let the math do the work over time.
Picks provided 90% of the days of the year. Total performance over the past 7 years of approximately 70% for moneyline plays and 62.6% for all ATS/Totals. No one in Vegas comes close.
Sports built for the model: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAAF, NCAABB — with WNBA and MLS coming in the future.
The “Pick Engine” is built by a former quantitative hedge fund manager — a “Quant” — who got tired of the 14-hour trading days and the nuisance of investors and meetings. Using reactionary stock-market strategies, he found correlations between the money flowing into the two sides of each bet. That money flow is then filtered by line changes and various other disqualification techniques.
The system is 100% automated. Even this website. The picks are made by the computer. No human intervenes.
The track record remains pristine and public for all time, and can occasionally be verified with archive.org. Very rarely, the model is tweaked — it has held strong since being developed in 2019. Now, after being banned from “everywhere” following a 7-year run of success, for the first time, starting in 2026, the “Pick Engine” is being given to the public — to destroy the house.
